| Front Row (Radio 4 Arts Review programme) interviewed Paul Murdin of BNSC in response to the announcement that Damien Hirst will provide a target on the lander for cameras and chemical and mineral
spectrometer calibrations. This target, along the lines of one of Damien's spot paintings, not only will mean contemporary art being landed on a planet but it will play a vital role in the science of the
mission - "a first, and a fabulous idea" according to Dr Murdin. |
