| There may not be water on Mars but there was plenty falling at this photoshoot at the time of the British Association talk by Professor Pillinger. Off to film (for a BBC local TV series on space activities in Eastern England
titled From Brancaster to Mars) in a nearby golf course bunker, the comparison in size of Beagle contrasted with the golf-buggy sized Athena Rover was subtly made. |

| Professor Pillinger recently gave evidence to the UK Parliamentary Trade and Industry Committee. The report (House of Commons Session 1999-2000) UK Space Policy made interesting reading in particular the
level of support for Beagle 2. The Summary of Conclusions and Recommendations included a report on Beagle 2 which started: |
